For me, it’s usually a last-minute vet visit for a dog, a trip to the chiropractor for me, and a schedule that was already packed before the unexpected got added.
Throw in some traffic, and it can quickly turn into a recipe for frustration, short tempers, and an overflowing inbox.
Except I am realizing that much of my frustration and short temper is my own doing, trying to control something that isn’t really in my control.
So instead, I take a deep breath, roll down the windows, let the sunshine in, and remember: I don’t have to let my day choose for me. I decide how my day goes.
