Nearly five years ago, Chad and I took a huge risk in closing my private practice so I could focus on speaking and workshops.
It was challenging and scary there for a long while, and it turns out that stepping onto the water is required for God to provide more than you can imagine.
In just 9 days, yes, I made Chad a paper chain, we step into another risk as Chad walks away from his current position.
The only things we’re sure of right now are that he will take an eight-week Sabbatical, at least (probably more with my current speaking schedule in May), and that God will provide more than we can imagine, even if we aren’t sure how yet.
We appreciate your prayers as Chad rests, recoups, and, yes, works on that creekside cabin of ours finally (we know you’ve been impatiently waiting for before and after pics).
Whether there is a new position for him with another organization (bc seriously #chadsthebest) or God provides through my work, we are stepping onto the water afraid and brave and, most of all, knowing, trusting, and expectantly waiting to see what God is preparing for us.
