We’ve lost ourselves and each other somewhere along the way, especially in the last six years. I wish there wasn’t this weird tension between people, one you can feel, and yet no one’s willing to have the hard conversation about it. I miss how much we used to care.
These are just a few of the things I’m hearing from team members and leaders when I ask what they’re struggling with at work, or what they’d like help improving. As usual, it’s the people problems.
And yet our response to these concerns seems to be turning inward, or turning toward one another in sarcasm and gossip rather than courage and connection. The things we do to survive these concerns are the very things that deepen the chasm. It isn’t even the easier option. Those things only erode us more, deepening burnout and disconnection.
What if we chose the courage work instead? Turning toward each other. Restorying our culture again.
It isn’t as complicated as you’d think. And I’d love to walk alongside you.
The best place to begin: my September full training. I’m so excited for this cohort and would love for you and your team to be part of it.
Register today before it fills.
