Today, I am making a day of nothing and no one.
Between many events, lots of peopling, an exciting product launch, and higher levels of pain than usual, I need to rest, refill, and restore myself before facilitating another full training next week.
Inbox is to a place that enough is done.
House, too, once I get those toilets cleaned.
So unless you eat plant leaves, have fur and a wagging tail, or grow in the sunshine and bloom bright colors, today I am not for your consumption.
We can’t give what we don’t have.
And the more we try to, the faster we are drowning and dying.
Caring for ourselves isn’t selfish or self-indulgent or frivolous or for only those people.
Is it our birthright.
One we must reclaim.
To love and lead well, we must first begin with ourselves.
