Infertility Struggle
Sitting next to the beach sipping on #dunkincoffee and making notes and plans for 2019. And reading @justinefroelker book #themotherofsecondchances@justinefroelker shares something in common with me. That commonality is infertility. Although our journeys of infertility differ, our grief and loss are the same. While I read her books, I felt like Justine had been walking beside me through MY journey. I cried (more than I care to admit) and laughed because a lot of her experiences and feelings mirrored my own!And for some odd reason, those that suffer through infertility do so in shame and silence. But then, by the grace of God, I discovered Justine! And I feel led to share. Justine has created three amazing books: Ever Upward, The Mother of Second Chances and The Complicated Gray.I have personally read the first two mentioned above and will start the third soon. And these books have been so therapeutic for me. They helped me realize that although we do not have children, our lives are full and rich with our "chosen family".We are truly blessed and I cannot thank Justine enough for helping me face the grief and pain on my path to #everupwardIf you know someone who is struggling with #infertility please consider buying The Ever Upward for them. They will feel so loved and validated by your gift.#infertility #infertilityjourney #family #helpingfriendsthroughinfertility #kindness #acceptance #infertilitygrief #loss #grief

This is a wonderful book that has helped me feel like I’m not alone in my infertility journey. I see myself in her journey and am encouraged to share my story because of her courageous words. Justine writes in an easily relatable style that helps the reader form an instant connection with her, almost as if you are having a conversation with her. She is brave, honest, and vulnerable in sharing the details of her story. This book includes short essays that highlight both the difficult parts and the successes of her journey and I was amazed at the growth I could see in her throughout this book. These stories give the reader hope that you too can do the work to rise when something in your life doesn’t turn out the way you hoped it would. If you have been through infertility, you will see yourself in her words no matter what your outcome was. If you haven’t been through infertility, you will see someone you know in her words or you will see yourself in her words in a different way. Her story has taught me how to work to create my own happy ending. Her words have changed my life forever.

I found out about Justine Brooks Foelkner through a free study on infertility in the Bible app. I loved her style so much that I ended up buying her books. I really believe these books have helped me grow and renew my faith as a Christian, and to own my truth as a woman who wants kids but hasn’t been able to have them. The way she writes really relates to hat I needed to hear. She does a great job not only sharing her truth, but also reminding me that I’m not alone and I have a right to my own story as well!
This particular book is a lovely collection of essays that span a three year period. You’ll laugh and maybe even tear up a bit as read through them. Great book!
Thank you for helping me find my way to live my childfull life and to trust God’s plan for my life ❤️

Great compilation of essays. I subscribe to the blog, but its nice to have the essays in hand, I do love turning the page of a good book. I sat down and read through them again. Highs and Lows. Being Brave. Justine's writing speaks to me, although we have different struggles, she shares thoughts and feelings which has helped me think about my own. Excited to get "The Complicated Gray" Justine's next book.

Justine has a way of writing that just puts it out there and gets to the raw emotion of such a taboo topic. Her writing makes you feel you are in the journey with her and getting a deeper understanding of the world around us and not always being what most thing is normal or typical - there are other options and that's ok you have to do you and what's right for you! Kudos to another great book and sharing your voice - can't wait for the next book! - Breanne (plexus sister for life)

Justine is a powerful source of light in redefining motherhood! Her words are full of possibility and practical solutions in any kind of reinvention, especially in the field of infertility. Read and be changed.
