Justine is a Licensed Professional Counselor with more than 20 years of experience in traditional mental health and personal and professional development. Justine has been certified in the work of Dr. Brené Brown for nine years. Justine is the author of eleven books, including five Amazon bestsellers covering subjects such as infertility, faith, and grief. She has been honored to do two TEDx Talks, The Permission of the And and The Donut Effect. She travels nationally and presents virtually to global audiences delivering keynotes, workshops, retreats, and trainings on topics such as leadership, courage, resilience, mental health, preventing and coping with burnout, and courageous and curious conversation, especially in creating cultures of belonging and diversity, equity, and inclusion. Justine lives in St. Louis with her husband Chad, their three dogs, and for four months of the year hundreds of monarch and swallowtail butterflies.

Justine is a Licensed Professional Counselor with more than 20 years of experience in traditional mental health and personal and professional development. For nine years Justine has been certified in the work of Dr. Brené Brown as a Certified Daring Way™, Dare to Lead™ & BOLD™ Facilitator. Justine has extensive experience helping people cope with their stress in a healthier way, communicate more effectively with the people they love and lead, and walk in their whole truth.
Justine is the author of eleven books including five Amazon best-sellers. Her latest book is 100 Devotions for Kids Dealing with Anxiety, released through Zonderkidz, a division of HarperCollins Christian Publishing. Her previous books are Rest & Receive, Pelia the Marvel (faith and school edition). Ever Upward, Lessons in Ever Upward, The Mother of Second Chances, Taking Flight, and The Complicated Gray. Justine’s next book, Marvel Undone, will be released in mid July and another illustrated children’s book will be released in late 2023.

To help you plan and deliver the most impactful sessions, please ensure the following technology needs are addressed.
Technology Needs/Speaker Set Up

LCD projector for slide deck presentation and ability to play video with audio if applicable for presentation.

Screen or large white wall.

Wireless headset microphone is preferred. If wireless is not available, Justine prefers a handheld microphone over a lavalier.

Justine will not be standing behind or speaking from a podium, she moves during her presentations and engages with the audience. Please have a small stand, table, or podium for her to place notes on.

Justine will bring her slide deck file on her laptop and a flashdrive. We also ask you to, in advance, download her file to the computer that will be running her presentation.

PDF handouts must be printed in advance, in color. Please do not print the slide deck presentation or distribute the handouts to anyone not attending Justine’s presentation.

Preferred room configurations include round tables, classroom, or theater style to allow for better interaction between Justine and participants alike.
