Our emotions don’t have to own us

Because when we speak our feelings, really feel them, cope with them in a healthy way, and move our bodies, our emotions don’t get stuck. They move through us and don’t own us.

This mama is starting this self-awareness young, thank goodness.

As for me, I will continue to model it and teach it every day here and in every room I get the honor to teach in because then we write our own story and stand the best chance to walk one another through this life in connection.
