Quote from Justine Froelker, a Keynote Mental Health Speaker

to cope with well and to heal

Something I am more and more sure of lately…

If I am feeling:
disrespected
offended
triggered
up in my feels

I am most likely:
tired
hungry
tired and hungry
in pain
in grief
my hormones are shifting (hello, perimenopause)
my nervous system is dysregulated
my values are being brushed up against

Or all of the freaking above.

And these things are mine.
Mine to cope with well and to heal.
This requires grace and love, and sometimes boundaries.
And it leads to freedom.
