Quote from Justine Froelker

Turn toward another.

The unspoken is never benign.

Every thing you don’t say…
Every tough conversation you put off and avoid…

Never ever ever benign.

Leaving it inside slowly kills us.
Which means it slowly kills our connection and therefore our relationship and then our culture.

How many unspokens are really death by a thousand tiny paper cuts?

Learn how to befriend your emotions.
Choose curious language and empathy.
Hold people accountable.
Turn toward another.
And just say what needs to be said in a clear and kind way

*And that policy you’re creating to avoid the tough conversation is really only creating more of them.

Because life is messy and people are complicated and there will always be a person with a story that doesn’t quite fit into your policy.
