May we never forget our humanity and one another’s humanity.

How often do we get so overwhelmed, wrapped up, and overly focused on the lists, the to-dos, the tasks, the inbox, the endless meetings, the policies, procedures, protocols, and profits that we forget the humans.

The humans we work alongside and lead.
The humans with very full lives and messy stories.
The humans we have way more in common with than the world wants us to remember.
The humans who are much more than their job title and what they produce for us.
The humans behind and who are much more than any and every list, to-do, message, meeting, policy, procedure, and profit.

May we never forget our humanity and one another’s humanity, to dare to show our full selves to one another, to truly connect, and walk one another through it all together and home.
