And I’m deeply grateful.
They say that when everything seems to go wrong, it’s often a sign that what you’re doing really matters and that it’s going to help a lot of people.
I don’t think I’ve ever felt that more than this week.
A hotel room change in the middle of the night.
A new room that was still sweltering.
A toilet that clogged because I dared not to flush it just perfectly.
A tiny fridge that froze all my healthy food.
All while teaching three full days of courage work, out of town.
There were moments I could do nothing but laugh, breathe, and pray.
And somehow, I knew all of it meant that the work I was there to do with this incredible cohort was going to be powerful. And it was.
I’m exhausted. I’m sore. And I’m deeply grateful.
Now? I’m off to find some gluten-free fries, a mocktail, and the earliest bedtime possible—before the drive home to my little family tomorrow. Winston is not known for his patience. ?
