Justine Froelker leadership development quote

Turn toward.

Last weekend, I spent two days at a work retreat for women entrepreneurs—not as the facilitator, but as a participant. It was way out of my comfort zone, and yet, I knew I was supposed to be there.

For two days, I was poured into—both in deep inner work and in branding work—while surrounded by ten women I might never have crossed paths with otherwise.

I walked away with fresh ideas and new tools. I finally put down, once and for all, the weight of things that have held me back for far too long. And I formed incredible friendships and business partnerships that I cannot wait to see unfold.

It was also two days of confirmation—of the very work I bring into the world.

Turn toward.

We must turn toward one another if we are going to heal, move forward, and get through this.

We must turn toward one another—because the world is banking on us not doing it.

We must turn toward—because we were never meant to do this alone, no matter how introverted we may be.

And for many of us, before we can turn toward others, we first have to turn back toward ourselves.

Nothing gets better if we keep hating, dividing, judging, and screaming (especially in the comments section).

I am so grateful to Lauren and Molly for this retreat. The impact of those two days will stay with me for a very long time.

For now, my friend, I wonder—who can you turn toward this week? How can you step out of your comfort zone?

Because I promise you, in that connection and courage, you will find a piece of yourself.
