Onward and Ever Upward

If you’ve been paying close attention, you might have noticed some changes on my social media accounts and email signature. By now, I hope you also know that I’ve launched my own curriculum, Courage is Built Here,™ a project 25 years in the making. It’s rooted in my passion for teaching people how to live and lead with more courage—and I couldn’t be more proud of it.

After a lot of reflection, prayer, and months of courageous learning, I’ve made the decision not to move forward with the new parent company of Dare to Lead.™For the past 11 years, I’ve been certified in Brené’s curriculums and it has profoundly shaped my life and my work. Letting go of it is not easy and I would be lying if I didn’t say even a little scary. However, I’ve learned that difficult decisions are often the ones that lead us to where we’re meant to go—and that as long as we stay rooted in our values, those decisions will guide us toward the life and work meant for us.

It felt important to officially share this because this chapter deserves an intentional goodbye. I am so grateful for everything this work has taught me and for all of you who have walked this journey alongside me.

As I step fully into Courage is Built Here,™I feel thankful and deeply excited for this next chapter. I believe that courage is built here—in the hard, the holy, and the heart of what connects us all. And I can’t wait to continue building it with you. If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to reach out.

Onward and ever upward. Here’s to what’s next.
