This Resurrection Sunday

No full family photo for us this Resurrection Sunday.

We’ve been hunkered down, soaking up the last sacred days with our sweet Gracie, and I’ve been moving through a pretty intense pain flare.

I did catch this photo of our three today—and honestly, that feels like a miracle in itself.

Grateful for a God who not only died out of love for us… He also knows deep grief, brutal suffering, and never once leaves us alone in it.

“Mary saw Jesus door nail dead.

But now he’s not. Jesus is alive. Speaking. And Mary knows it. She just heard His voice. Saw the light in his eyes. Felt the warmth of His skin.

He spoke to her. She felt His breath on her face.

This changes everything. About everything.”
Charles Martin – Son of Man
