Real, Sustainable Change
I am often asked what separates the teams that create true, sustainable change after working with me from the ones that struggle, stay stuck, or end up being a one-and-done.
It’s never one thing.
And yet, over the years, I’ve learned that some things really matter…
The leaders do the work with me, are all in, and walk it out themselves.
It’s more than a keynote.
The whole team, preferably the whole org, sees the work.
You bring me back again or for more or regularly, especially because they will ask for that.
You keep the work top of mind by using curious language and bringing everything back to your values.
Because you’re tired of everything feeling so hard and transactional, and you care so you let me he,lp and we find a way to build courage again.
This week I had the honor of doing all this with the leaders and team at Mercy Kids Center for Neurodevelopment. Thank you Kelly Wooldridge for trusting me with your leaders and going all in on the Courage is Built Here™ full training AND bringing me back to spend time, with all of your staff this week.
Incredible people, doing important work, and choosing courage. Thank you.
