To Show Up & Serve
I had just finished a last minute virtual keynote on my rest day before heading into facilitating a full 3-day training.
And I felt the urge to snap this pic after getting an email from the meeting planner of that virtual keynote, “You changed lives today. More later…”
A reminder to myself that in this season that feels more brutal than I can handle in so many ways, that courage matters more than any of the hard.
To show up and serve.
To also show up and serve yourself first (hence the chuck roast in the crockpot in the background of this pic as I cook my food for the next three days of training).
That rest doesn’t need to be earned, rather it is a non negotiable.
That even when you feel more tired than you’ve ever been, like it will all never get done, that maybe the world will never get it…you keep going because you know it matters more than any of that, the vision is worth it, and simply you can’t not bring it to world because that would mean to literally stop breathing.
Courage is built in all of the above.
In the hard, the rest, and everything in between.
It’s built right here.
