And We Keep Going

The inquiries have started coming in. And the biggest question, asked always with so much excitement, is when will you open?

We feel like we are in the homestretch. And we are also so far away. We are at the mercy of contractor schedules and so many things outside our control.

The three main spaces in the sanctuary that will be available for rent are nearly ready for pictures. The retreat house still has the kitchen and bathrooms to finish. The historic sink has taken hours and hours of Chad’s time. I promise you it will be worth it. And the six acres, well, she will be a project for years to come.

In the meantime, the details are coming together.

Light plate switches that have made people swoon before I even tell them what they mean. My workbook pages up in the conference rooms. Vintage furniture curated with our whole heart, finally in what feels like their final resting place. A few flowerbeds in official full bloom.

For now, we share the two corner spaces in the main training space. Where you will grab your workbook and sit comfortably in community, embedding the courage work into your soul.

We have had several setbacks, as one does with a historic restoration. Including our copper lines being stolen. Read that as yes, our sanctuary training space does not currently have air conditioning.

And we keep going. Because the vision is clear. The mission is what matters. And we are all in.

There are many things to be worried about. Frustrated by. Exhausted trying to figure out how and when this will all come together. And still, we take the next step forward.

If you would like to help, our Amazon Wishlist is still active.

If you would like to help with sweat equity, we have not had an official workday due to summer heat and honestly, the bandwidth to plan one. We are there nearly every Saturday working (Chad nearly every single day). We will never turn down help, especially on the land. Just drop me a message or a text.

Thank you for your excitement, your support, and your love. You are helping us build a space that will change lives.
