Mahatma Gandhi Quote

Look at us changing the world!

I will never get to experience the pride of seeing my child score the winning goal or ace the test or be kind to a stranger or graduate or get the dream job or walk down the aisle to a healthy and perfect for them partner.

I can imagine that pride feels similar to the pride I feel when I get to witness a leadership team walking out the work I have taught them. To hear them use the language, offering one another grace and accountability. To know, they must do the work to repair trust and their culture.

It is a feeling that swells inside of me, overwhelming me with joy and undone pride.

Look at what they are doing!
Look at what I was a small part of getting them there!
Look at us changing the world!

Thank you to the DLT team at Special School District of St. Louis County, I love you all, am beyond grateful to you for trusting me, and am so, so, so dang proud of you!
