People are desperate for real, authentic connection.

Lately, I’m realizing that what I think I’m showing up to do is often just one piece of what I’m actually meant to do in that space. Whether it’s during a speaking engagement, my volunteer hours, or even a Marco Polo chat with friends, I keep coming back to this: showing up with deep, genuine love is what’s most needed.

The kind of showing up that leaves people feeling seen, heard, inspired—and most of all, like they matter.

I’ve been saying it for a long time, but it just keeps proving itself true: People are desperate for real, authentic connection. And sometimes, that connection starts with simply being there in a way that says, I see you. You matter.
