Protect your peace and joy.

It feels like the list of things to feel easily offended by is endless these days.

An endless, constant barage of posts, clips, quotes, opinions, and everything in between that wants to assault my mind, heart, wellbeing, and peace.

Except my peace is mine to protect.
My offense is mine to choose.

Simply, I no longer have the tolerance or the bandwidth to be offended anymore.

It doesn’t mean I don’t have an opinion. It doesn’t mean that I don’t have strong feelings.

It simply means I will focus on what’s in my control, I will live in my values, I will stay curious, I will do my research, and most of all I will protect my peace because my joy is at stake.

And I’m done handing my joy to anyone.
