Thank you for your grace.

“Thank you for your grace.”

I’ve been saying it a lot lately.

I need to cancel this lunch. I just need that hour back. Please send me dates for late May.

Here’s the thing. I am in a season where every minute and every cell of bandwidth goes to getting Monarch Meadows Retreat ready. Some days that means I’m up at the property doing all the things, which is exhausting in the best and hardest ways. Some days it means I’m home with the dogs, holding down the fort. And on my worst and most hilarious days, alternating between human pooper scooper and lap bed for four tiny dogs who have absolutely no concept of personal space.

Some days it means leading teams through the courage work that funds the big dream.

Thank you for your grace lets me stand in my values. It lets me do what I need to do without the weight of guilt about it.

And what I keep learning? Pretty much everyone is relieved to get an hour back.

If someone truly cares for you, they offer that grace. Because they can see the something bigger being built.

So this Monday: what do you need to cancel? What do you need to say no to?

Reclaim the hour. And offer a simple, “thank you for your grace.”
