When we reconnect with our values

Yesterday, I had the privilege of meeting with a small group of impressive entrepreneurs. They were struggling with goal-setting—reporting that their goals weren’t sparking inspiration.

So, we dug deeper.

When we lose sight of our values—the how come behind what we do—it’s no surprise that excitement fades. Goals without a foundation in what truly matters to us can feel hollow, like just another task to check off. When we reconnect with our values, we create goals that fuel us instead of drain us.

Shifting the focus beyond the next revenue target and back to what truly matters helps us remember why we do this work—and why we keep going.

Have you ever felt stuck in goal-setting? What helps you stay connected to your how come?
