Justine Froelker - Mental Health Speaker - Quote

Love well.

Been reminding myself of some of my own teaches a lot lately. Things like:

Your perception of my story does not change my truth.

Our reactions are more about us than anything or anyone else.

How we treat people is more a reflection of our values than theirs.

I want to do the work to feel my feelings, not be my feelings.

Anger and hurt are always valid. Reacting and lashing out from them are often not okay.

I believe with everything in me that people are doing their best.
Sometimes their best sucks and isn’t good enough for me.
So I set boundaries.
And sometimes, I have to love you from afar.

We are all a bunch of wounded children walking around in adult bodies.

You don’t know what it takes someone to show up in the world.
Be kind.

All are worthy, valuable, loved, and created in His image.
Love well.
