Day 16 of A Courageous Advent by Justine Froelker

Curiosity is courage in action.

Advent asks us to wait, which feels very opposite of how the holiday season feels.

Waiting doesn’t mean staying still, though.

What if this season, you chose curiosity instead of control?

Curiosity opens us to possibility, to wonder, to seeing things differently, especially in the wait.

Spend your commute in silence, don’t play on your phone waiting in that line, spend lunch having a conversation and not working.

In other words, look up, choose curiosity, and wait.

Ask yourself: What might this moment teach me? What new perspective could I embrace today? What moment must I not miss?

Curiosity is courage in action.
