in the space of love

We aren’t made to escape.

We can’t run.

I promise, there is no amount of pushing down, plowing through, numbing out, or denying life, our emotions, our past hurts, and traumas. that will make them go away.

The greatest gift we can give ourselves, and therefore the people we lead and the people we love (and are raising), is to learn to sit with ourselves, to be, to rest, and refill.

To meet life, the emotions, hurts, trauma, and ourselves with love.

To befriend it all.

It is there, in the space of love, that we can receive the full human experience of the dark and the light…the truth of who we are – our utter, total, and complete enoughness.
