Justine Froelker lesson on connection

Smell the Flower.

When we look up from our phones…
When we put down the list,
take a breath,
and choose to be here…

We begin to see it.
This world is woven with glimmers.

The smile of a stranger.
The flash of color in a bird’s wing.
A single birdsong cutting through the noise.
The fragrance of a flower so perfect it makes you stop.

The greens that surround us.
The blue that covers us.
The ordinary miracles calling us back to our lives,
our bodies,
our right-now moments.

They’re not just pretty distractions.
They are lifelines.
Anchors.
Sacred reminders.

We are connected.
We are here.
We are still whole, even when life feels like too much.

Don’t miss it.
Look up.
Breathe it in.
Consider the lilies.
Smell the flower.
