Sometimes this recovery thing is a real pain in the ass. I've taught it for years. I've really practiced it myself for the last couple. And, I literally talk about it daily to my clients.
To some people, maybe even most, the term childfree describes those who have chosen to not have children or the childfree by choice group. Whereas, childless describes those of use who have tried but cannot have children.
Ever Upward is growing. My world is expanding. My recovery is strengthening. Which also means my shamed silence is triggered more often. Even though my shame resilience has grown as a result of my practicing recovery.
