In that space of brave and real

When I ask how you are, I want the real answer. The answer you’re brave enough to share with me.

When you ask how I am, I will tell you how I really am to the depth I am brave enough to answer.

In that space of brave and real, we can walk with one another.

Not to fix one another or try to minimize anything or feel sorry for, simply to truly see, witness, and love one another.

Because then we aren’t so dang alone.

May we make sure our interactions the rest of this week are real, authentic, and full of this sit beside love…because if not, for me, I am at the wrong table.
