Justine Froelker - Resilience Training Quote

The And.

I have had some disappointing blows lately, which means I am needing to remind myself of the work I have taught for over half my life.

Disappointment and trust.

The And.

It is possible to feel more than one emotion at the same time.

Feel it. Speak it. Cope with it. Move it.

Befriend the sadness, disappointment, frustration, surrender, trust, and knowing it will be okay.

Welcome it all to the table.

And make sure Love sits at the head.

Reminding myself of what I used to tell my clients:

Sit with the shit, and not in the shit.

So with a deep breath and some tears, I feel it all, get back up and out of the stank.
