Walking out this work

An early morning phone call with a courageous conversation where we both asked for what we wanted and needed, clearly stated our boundaries, came with solutions and concerns, and ultimately created a plan that best serves the team and the work within not-so-awesome circumstances.

Because being flexible, adaptable, generous, kind, helpful, and clear are an absolute must in these times.

My full-day in-person event today has pivoted to a two-hour virtual introduction this morning. And for now, I’ll put my shame shields away until we reschedule the rest of our event in person.

I’m also going to change out of these hard pants for leggings.

Thank you, Meg Brown, for being you, for being my friend, and for walking out this work with me every day.?
