Courage is about stepping forward authentically.

What if courage wasn’t about being fearless?
What if it is about showing up fully as all of you?

Lately, I’ve been thinking about how often we hold back.

We hesitate in work meetings, tough conversations, and even our closest relationships.

It feels safer, right? Like we’re protecting ourselves.

Here’s the thing, though:
Holding back doesn’t just protect us—it hides us and isolates us.
It keeps us from being fully seen, fully known, and fully connected.

Courage isn’t about staying safe.

It’s about stepping forward authentically, even when it feels hard.

Here’s what happens when we do:
We have the hard conversation—and finally feel understood.
We show up authentically—and inspire others to do the same.
We stop just surviving—and start truly connecting.

It’s not easy. I know because I live it.

And I also know the more we practice courage—tiny, messy, human courage—the more we create the kind of world we all want to live in.

What’s one way you can show up a little more courageously today?
