Rainbows, butterflies, and puppies
The demand on others and ourselves to be positive no matter what often only means we aren't creating the space to allow the tough, the dark, and the struggle to exist right alongside the triumphs, the light, and our resilience.
We don’t need to be fixed.
Social media has somehow become an invitation for unsolicited help, suggestions, feedback, and especially criticism.
We need and must make and have fun!
Your "just in fun" intention has a much less likelihood of having a fun impact today. What may have been funny two years ago often may not land the same way today.

Thank you!!!
It has been a project long in the making. It has taken so much work on so many people's part. And it will mean my story and the courage work I teach will reach even more people.
It sucks and it’s okay.
Because sometimes, maybe nearly always, the best-laid plans still won't be quite enough.
How are you feeling loved by me?
When was the last time you asked the people you lead and work alongside how they feel appreciated by you?
Perhaps normal is long gone.
We are only beginning to see and feel the ramifications of the last two years in our families and in our organizations.
The stories we make up
Because the stories we make up often aren't kind, generous, or based on concrete evidence.
The disconnection of unsolicited advice.
I've often been the person who shares their story of struggle, whether infertility or health battles, only to be met with an onslaught of unsolicited advice I never asked for.
