See you next year
As another wild, difficult, and holy beautiful year comes to a close, it's time to pause and reflect before going dark for a bit.
Ten years
This morning as I got ready, two mourning doves and a blue jay worked through some stuff in our holly tree right outside the window. Of course, the blue jay was pretty feisty and eventually staked its territory.
What if we?
What if we challenged the systems, things, and stories that tell us we have to mask up, plow through, numb out, stuff down, hustle, earn, strive, and pretend?
To show the way to love and lead well…
It is through this discomfort that we get through the dark together and write out our own future.
Clear is kind.
Ask for what you want and need. Ask in the moment. Clear is kind. Resentment is poison, it's also preventable.
mistakes will be made.
When a team doesn't have trust and well-being, the consequences are much more catastrophic than profit.
